Koh Tao island is a small island in the north of Koh Samui with quiet beaches that become a magnet for those who really want them off to see all divers to the colorful coral beds. You should visit also Koh Nang Yuang. It is perfect for snorkeling, swimming or just relaxing on the beach with white sand. The water is very clear.

The most popular beach in Koh Tao island is Sairee beach.

Koh Tao IslandIt is a beautiful beach to cool off or swimming. The water is clear, and the waves are minimal. There are palm trees along the coast in order to protect you from sunburn while you are reading, lying or to speak with other travellers next to you. There are also restaurants and clubs line the beach for a snack, drink beer and watch some impressive fire dance in the night.

You should be careful if you rent a scooter. You should really know how to ride because they will charge you if you scratched the scooter.

Koh Tao island is an only one-hour  ride on a high-speed catamaran from Ao Makham Noi Pier in Chumphon, while from Koh Samui, it will take around three hours.
